One otherwise run-of-the-mill morning, one of our retailer clients' IT staff members was in the midst of several critical and time-sensitive projects, when his wife went into early labor. Unable to abandon the IBM AIX systems he was monitoring, he called on the powers-that-be at St. Croix Solutions, and System Engineer Jeff Buckley stepped in to take over for the future father whose wife was waiting anxiously at home.
With an hour to tidy up unrelated projects, collect his superpowers, drive over to the clientÂ’s site and get fully-briefed on all of his responsibilities, Jeff managed to assume full leadership over four crucial projects in progress - and unbeknownst to him, 15 system upgrades the client forgot to mention amidst the hustle and obvious preoccupation.
The client daddy rushed home to pack his expectant wife into the car and zip to the hospital just in time - resting fully assured the responsibilities at the office were in good hands with St. Croix Solutions. The new family was able to focus on spending time together instead of the tasks at the office - and all systems were a go under the quick mind and TLC of our Jeff Buckley.

A gaming entertainment industry leader was looking for a technology pro to integrate, host and package their technology—everything from gaming, Oracle database and e-business software to EMC, Sun and Cisco hardware solutions. They recruited St. Croix Solutions for the job.
We brought our A-game, providing the hosting facility, expert staff and dual T1 connectivity for their remote staff of Oracle programmers. At the end of the staging project we packaged the systems, shipped them directly to the end user location, then assisted with on-site integration, resulting in a significant savings of both time and cost.
Not that there weren’t challenges along the way. As the clock was ticking down, it became apparent that one of their crucial applications had issue with the 64-bit AMD server architecture. Within four hours, we had them up and running with two fully-loaded HP DL380s.
